Crew 2010

Our Crew

Our crew represents over 100 years of cumulative construction experience. Plus, we are really nice guys. Why is this important to you? Remodeling makes up about half of our work projects. As such, we are constantly working around, over, and under our clients – right in their homes and business. That is why honesty, friendliness and responsibility are as important as construction skills in our crew.

Bob’s our structural foreman. He’s been in the construction trade for the past 24 years, starting when he graduated from high school. Before moving to Coos County with his wife and three kids, Bob operated his own turn key building and framing business in the Mt. Shasta area of northern California.

Eric V.
Eric brings 28 years of construction experience to his work with Weldon & Sons. He is our “complicated project” foreman because of his varied construction background. Eric came from Maryland with his wife and three kids in “03 to get away from the East Coast rat race. After trying out several construction companies in the area, he settled in with Weldon & Sons as the best opportunity to express his professionalism. From landscaping, to commercial construction to ground-up custom homes to handyman services,  Weldon & Sons is proud to benefit from his broad construction skills.  Eric makes doll houses and furniture in his spare time.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA          Tanner was our summer-time laborer/apprentice. He has been working construction during  summers in high school, working toward a permanent position in the business. Now he is going to college at SOCC and working permanent part time.

John is a born and farm-raised Californian. He learned his hands-oncarpentry skills from a young age on the farm. He started in construction working for various building contractors during high school, and stuck with it. When his family relocated to Coos Bay, he followed. We hired John as an apprentice in ’06 and he quickly moved to journeyman.

He is an excellent drywall finisher. John spends his free time camping and running his 4-wheeler in the Dunes.
